Bannockburn, Illinois – A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded this week as 1-year-old Noah Probst of Peotone passed away after a drowning accident in a residential indoor pool in Bannockburn.
The incident occurred on Monday, February 19, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m. at a home on Half Day Road. Emergency responders arrived at the scene after receiving reports of a child drowning. Despite immediate life-saving efforts at the scene by the Deerfield-Bannockburn Fire Department and Bannockburn Police Department, Noah was transported to Highland Park Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.
