Mary Langner, Beloved Sioux Falls Resident, Passes Away at Age 76, Leaving Behind a Legacy of Kindness and Laughter
Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Mary Langner, a cherished member of the Sioux Falls community, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the age of 76.
Mary was known for her boundless kindness, her infectious sense of humor, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved. She spent over two decades as an integral part of the Brandon Golf Course family, where she became a beloved figure, often working alongside her daughter in the lounge. Her hard work and joyful spirit made an indelible impact on everyone who knew her.
Friends and family took to social media to express their grief and share memories. Matt Hurney, her godson, wrote, "Mary was my godmother and my aunt, a woman who had the biggest heart and always found ways to help others. She will always be missed but never forgotten."
The Langner family has announced that a celebration of Mary’s life will take place on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 7400 S. Minnesota Ave., Sioux Falls, SD.
Mary will be remembered for her vivacious smile, her sense of humor, and the love she shared with all who crossed her path.
