Dade City, Florida – The tight-knit community of Dade City is mourning the loss of Dalton Duncan, who tragically passed away on February 19, 2025, following a car accident.
Dalton, an alumnus of the Pasco Baseball team, was known for his vibrant personality and boundless potential. His sudden passing has left a profound impact on his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
Kimberly Duncan Helms, Dalton’s mother, expressed the heartbreak of losing her beloved son. “He was such an awesome young man, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, and friend,” she shared in a Facebook post. “He had such a bright future ahead of him, and we were so excited to see him spread his wings. Only God knows why and we know he is with his dad.”
Dalton's memory is being honored not only by his family but also by the Pasco Baseball community. In a touching tribute, the team dedicated their February 19th game to Dalton, whose number 5 was retired for the occasion.
